SUSTAINABLE SURF ACCESSORIES
BLANKS
The blank refers to high density polyurethane foam bonded to a plywood stringer, forming the core of every surfboard. Safari Surfboard is one of the few factories in the world, who actually produce their own blanks. This allows control over the quality from the very first step of the manufacturing process. Premium quality blanks with high density foam are the basis to every lively and pressure resistant surfboard. A dense cell structure doesn’t allow the resin to sink in during the glassing process, thus saving weight and ensuring an even laminate. With an additonal white spray after the shaping, the blank is extra UV resistant and will keep its bright white color as long as possible.
POLYOLA ECO SURFBOARDS
Taking the first step towards a more sustainable PU board we are among the first to offer a complete model range of Surfboards with a Polyola recycled blank. The foam is based on 30% recycled PU content and wood components. The eco blank is also recyclable at the end of its lifetime. The finished board offers a higher pressure stability that is reducing the risk of pressure dents. The foam is also beneficial due to its closed cell structure, as there will be no need to worry about water intake in case of damage.
ECO-FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE SOFTBOARDS
Our KANOA Foamys are some of the most performing softboards on the market and are made in a family run surfboard factory in Peru. The result is a fully recyclable surfboard based on a partly circular production process that creates significantly less wastage and with less toxins involved. The Foamy 2023 collection comes with our new interchangeable finbox system. Decide for yourself which system you want to surf. After a crash you can simply install a new finbox without repairing the board and continue surfing with full performance.

Since the founding of KANOA Surfboards, we have been working on HRT, the world's first surfboard construction method that makes it possible to combine sustainability and top performance in one surfboard.
Through its 3D structural glassing, our patented Honey Roots Technology solves every problem of current epoxy surfboard construction, allowing sustainable materials such as eco-surfboard blanks and bio-resin to be used without sacrificing performance and durability.
The 3D structure of HRT surfboards increases pressure resistance and absorbs vibration and chatter during surfing, as well as the risk of delamination. Worn out & burnt performance surfboards are a thing of the past.
